Design Directions was an attempt to showcase 50 practices as a cross-sectional representation of contemporary Indian architecture.
The exhibition in Mumbai intergrated a panel display as a commemorative tribute to Padma Shri Dashrath Patel.

Design Directions: 50 on 50” was an attempt to showcase progress of contemporary architecture in India over the past 25 years. The exhibition presented 50 practices from across India who have made an impact in contemporary Indian architecture. The presentation of the works were in three categories as per their building styles and intent:

  • Global Practices
  • Indian Idioms
  • Off the Beaten Track

Design Direction: 50 ON 50” was the 1st ever traveling exhibition presented by Legrand & Indian Architect & Builder in India where work of 50 leading architects and designers were showcased under one platform. It was an event of high inspirational value and attracted the participation of fellow architects and designers to see the works & projects which are cutting edge and project the future of Indian design & construction industry.
